Superior Stopping Power. Uncompromising Quality. Delivered Nationwide.

For nearly two decades, Superior Friction has been South Africa’s trusted online destination for high-performance brake upgrades and reliable direct-replacement brake parts. Whether you need everyday braking reliability, spirited street performance, or full track-ready solutions, we deliver the brake discs, brake pads, kits, and components that keep you safe and in control.

Our Story: From Niche Pioneer to a Leading Brake Supplier

We registered Superior Friction as a company in 2012 and began trading online shortly thereafter. In the early days of automotive performance enhancements in South Africa, high-performance brake discs, slotted rotors, and performance brake pads were hard to find. Enthusiasts had to hunt through speciality shops or rely on costly custom work.

Brakes, Brembo, StopTech, Powerbrake, Vari, PFC Brakes, Ferodo DS Performance, and more. From EBC YellowStuff and BlueStuff pads to Brembo HP kits and high-performance rotors.

• Exclusive Superior Friction Sport Brake Rotors: Custom-designed and precision-engineered for high-performance vehicles like the Nissan GT-R and Audi RS4, R8 and RS6. Slotted rotors for improved heat dissipation, reduced fade, and stronger bite.
• Better Value Than Dealerships: We hear it daily – agents quoting ridiculous prices for brake replacements. Our performance upgrades and direct-replacement parts offer superior quality at far more affordable prices.
• Family Values, Professional Service: We believe family is the foundation of our success and are committed to growing opportunities for our team while delivering exceptional service to yours.
